The coating acts like an 'invisible ear plug' by creating a natural water resistant and repellant barrier allowing the ear to self-drain after leaving the water. Olive oil is a natural product and has wide daily applications, as such no side-effects should occur with this product or with this product interacting with other medicines. However, this product should not be used if you have a sensitivity or allergy to oil-based products. Directions for use Apply Earol Swim to both ears before entering the water. Pull the upper ear or "Pinna" upwards and backwards. Hold the bottle in an upright position with the nozzle placed into the ear canal and press the actuator firmly, a single actuation per ear should be sufficient.
